CAMP Football is a project exploring conventions of beauty, obsession, kinks, and Susan Sontag's "Notes on 'Camp.'" Influenced by artists like George Bissell, I aim to incorporate both humour and stylization into my work. Through my paintings, I capture not only the excitement of the game but also its obsessive nature—an intensity that borders on the visceral and even sensual. By reinterpreting football's visual language, I aim to reveal its theatricality, and the underlying expressions of identity often overlooked within the sport.
